ODE TO THE BLACK FIDDLER MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE BRONX BREWERY
Join us on Saturday, September 9th from 1pm - 9pm for our 7th annual celebration, featuring a full day experience of live performances by multi-genre string musicians, DJ sets, food and beverages provided by The Bronx Brewery and Empanology, local vendors and much more.
This project is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the Bronx Council on the Arts.
Code of Conduct for an Unforgettable OBF Music Festival Experience
RESPECT OTHERS
It should go without saying (but sometimes it needs saying)-- be kind, courteous, and respectful towards other attendees, staff, and performers.
KEEP AREA CLEAN
No Litter on the festival grounds. Help us keep our space clean by disposing of your trash properly. We provide trash and recycling bins throughout the location for your convenience.
SUPPORT LOCAL
Support our local brands and organizations by visiting our vendor marketplace. You can find a wide range of products and services from apparel and jewelry to wellness offerings.
BE RESPONSIBLE
Drink alcohol responsibly and avoid excessive drinking. Be aware of your surroundings, stay hydrated, and take breaks when needed.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING
Photography and recording are permitted, but please be respectful and do not use flash photography during performances. Do not obstruct the view of other attendees or block any pathways.
HAVE FUN
Lastly, but most importantly, have fun! Let loose, dance, and enjoy the string festival experience with friends and family. Spread positive vibes and make unforgettable memories. We encourage attendees to arrive early to take advantage of the full day.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES
Do not bring outside food/beverages into the festival premises. We offer a variety of food and beverage options, including vegan and non-alcoholic choices, provided by The Bronx Brewery and Empanology.
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION
Clap during performances to show your appreciation for the artists. While it is customary during traditional string music concerts to only clap at the end of a performance, at the OBF Music Festival, feel free to clap whenever you hear something impressive, or a beautify melody. This gesture will energize the performers and let them know you are enjoying their show.
