2021 Reconnect Series
Hudson Square BID partners with IAH Studio to bring visual artists and string musicians of color to the Hudson square community.
As part of Hudson Square's 2021 Reconnect Series, IAH Studio will curated weekly programming featuring string musicians and artists of color for the entire month of June.

BRONX MUSIC WALK
The Bronx Music Walk is designed to encourage wellness, community engagement and collective consciousness through music and movement. On Saturday, November 7th, 2020 from 11 am - 4 pm, numerous participants engaged in our self-guided walk to music in the newly landscaped Starlight and Concrete Plant Parks, Bronx, NY.

IAH Studio partners with YZRIAH Jewelz to create up-cycled body jewelry made from old violin, viola and guitar strings.
IAH Studio, founder and artistic director, Iymaani Abdul-Hamid, drafted victorian-inspired designs including Crown, bra, skirt and bracelet and brooches.
Founder and head-jeweler, Kaze Yisrael, worked tirelessly--dedicating her time and craftsmanship to bring to life these timeless designs.

IAH Studio and Communities for Healthy food
teamed up to provide a four month series titled, "Feeding the Soul"--including live performances by professional string musicians of color, food demonstrations, transformative health information and fresh food distribution.
We we're excited to host this series for our community at a time of rising unemployment rates and limited access to healthy food and cultural programming.
